Lucas O’Connell is an indie singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Melbourne. The debut album Songs to Sleep On showcases his unique finger-picking stlye, which when combined with haunting vocals and a host of great international backing musicians, makes the album beautifully melodic. Lucas' music is inspired by and has been compared to Nick Drake, Leonard Cohen, Paul Simon, and Elliot Smith.
